Ever since I moved to Cleveland in 2014, I have always been fascinated by the Tremont neighborhood. Full of quirky shops and a deep-rooted sense of community, it’s still one of my favorite places to visit.

Sometimes we all need a little reality check every now and again to keep us humble and thankful for the life we lead. Every year, I volunteer with my teammates at a Special Olympics swim meet and it has become a cause very important to me.
The Special Olympic athletes work so hard and achieve great accomplishments like many other athletes despite their disabilities. Seeing the swimmers compete is such a humbling experience because they show how adversity can be overcome.
Athletes like them inspire me and keep me grounded whenever I think my life gets overwhelming. Please check out my video slideshow of this year’s Special Olympics swim meet.
